-Educated at Chinese Mission School in Honolulu under the tutorship of Mr. Frank W. Damon. He was there for about 7 yrs., His studies were partly in Chinese and partly in English. He speaks, writes, and reads English.227

-He speaks, writes, and reads Chinese.228

-In 1917 he went to the Mainland, Wilmington, California, and returned in 1918. He made a 2nd trip in 1927 and returned the same year.229

-Has him born about 1876. He was 43 yrs. old in 1/3/20225, the same as his brother EO who was listed as 43 yrs. old in 1/7/20256. I believe the brothers are a yr. a part w/EO the older.145

-Jan. 1920 he had never been to China and to the mainland once. Planning to go to Wing Ching Chong store, Hong Kong, China for 6 mos. on business. Left on 5/5/1920.228,229

-“We need more Chinese in Hawaii”, said Farm Cornn on the deck of the Great Northern late yesterday. “and I am going to Washington to see if it is possible to lift the bans so that 25,000 Chinese may be admitted to Hawaii. W. H. HIndle is with me on the trip to the national capital to take the matter up.”
Further, Farm Cornn said that the Japanese were so much in the assendency in Hawaii that something must be done to counteract their influence. The plantations, he said, were in need of real labor, and as the European supply has become a minus quantity it was up to the Orient to supply the need.
He hopes, he said, that Congress would look favorably upon the admission of more Chinese in Hawaii and would work to his utmost to secure this result.257 (At age 39 yrs., 12/31/1916)

-5/14/32 he was 55 yrs. old and he traveled with his sister Kin Han & her son, Ralph; arrived in San Pedro, CA from Hon.258

-He wanted everything his way but the rest of the brothers didn’t and that caused friction in the family.259

-He did not want to have anything to do with Hattie and his children because Hattie had gotten him into lots of trouble.234

-With Elder William M. Waddoups of the Church of Latter-Day Saints officiating, services will be held at Borthwick's mortuary at 3pm today..., who died at 10:25pm... Services over the ashes will be held at 2pm...at the graveside...where the urn with the ashes will be given burial.246
