Myra Naomi Keko'olani "Kolani" Chartrand, 70, of Hilo, a Ka Hale Hula 'O Keko'olani hula instructor and retired state adult corrections officer, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Kalopa, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Nawai and Uwao; daughters Puakahi and Kahealani Chartrand and Hina Chartrand Wong; brothers Charles and Henry Keko'olani; sister Katherine Dambley; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave. Call after 9 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery, Mormon Section. Casual attire.
