-13 great-grandchildren
1492-”Mary was an extremely dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary was the cornerstone of the Yamamoto family. She has always been the “glue” that has kept the family together. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For the grandchildren especially, her house was the gathering place where all the ohana could reconnect, no matter how far away their lives had taken them. They often looked to her as their “excuse” to stay bonded together”.
