66-Charles Kaleikau's mother's name was Kahale or Kahalekepuaa (1900 Marriage License to Lilia Rose and Kaneohe Clinic Records). She died giving birth to him (Family Members Recollection)
107-I had arranged for a sculptor friend of mine to carve the headstone for Charles and Lilia, using the current infomation I had back then. So, the date of 1878 is incorrect and it should be 1876 instead.
115-I don't know what kind of relationship Charles and Mary Ann had or if she adopted him. I don't think Mary Ann would have adopted him since I didn't find any court record on this and most women back then didn't have any legal standing to do this. I remember that in the Oahu Directory, only Charles and Abraham were listed as living in Waianae in the 1880s, before Abraham married.
115-*The 1900 U.S. Census has the name of George SATCHEM as the father of Charles KALEIKAU. This name appears nowhere else in the family records thus far.
