-Approximately in 1991 she went to Thule, Greenland. She worked in Logistics, drove the forklift (indoor) and also a 3/4 ton truck (diesel) flatbed. One of the requirements there was to lift 95#’s. So she went to the gym and worked out 5 days a week to accomplish that feat. She was 55 yrs. old at the time. She was there from 91-96. While there she had her own radio show every Sunday for an hour...played Hawaiian music and sometimes had requests to play the “uke” and sing Don Ho’s songs like “Tiny Bubbles, Suck-Um Up and One Paddle, 2 Paddle, etc.1068
