Notes for Bernard Henry KRAFT
-Entered the Army out of high school, receiving his basic training at Schofield Barracks, Territory of Hawaii. His service career included two tours in Germany, Fort Ord, CA., Korea, Fort Sill, OK., Vietnam and Fort Knox, KY., retiring at Fort Ord, CA. after 20 yrs. of Honorable service with numerous citations and awards. His service career was as an Armored Motor Pool Sergeant and Instructor.

After retiring he was employed with Bechtel Oil/Mobile Oil in Indonesia including returning to Indonesia with Red Adair's Fire Crew to extinquish an oil fire. He was employed in 1978 as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with the City of Reno, retiring in 1995.

His hobbies and interests were fishing, boating, camping and football and passed the love of these sports onto his sons. He was actively involved in organized sports and proudly took his Pop Warner teams to Post and All-Star championships. He established long friendships meeting many people with the same passions each yr. at the "ole" fishing hole vying for that big trout or bass. He always has a smile and a twinkle in his eye and everyone he met became an instant friend.

He was an original member and officer with establishing the Hawaiian Club in the Reno Sparks area and was a lifetime member in the Black Horse Military Association.1020
