Her daughter Laura took her ashes to be buried next to her son Scott.
1003-…five grandchildren (Dena, Quinn, Joachim, Adam and Sam), two great-grandchildren (Nicholas and Anna); Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, she married and moved to California where she raised three children and had a career. Later in life, she moved to Evart, Michigan where she managed her large farm and then volunteered as a grant writer for the Reed City Public Library. She moved to Grand Rapids in the early 1990’s. Peg was very active in the community. She enjoyed friends, a variety of cultures and laughter. A graduate of Leadership Grand Rapids, she also worked with the homeless and volunteered in the local schools. She was a longstanding member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids were she volunteered with the Food Pantry and was a delegate to several Environmental Conferences. She was also a recent graduate of the World Religions Program at the Lakeshore Interfaith Institute in Ganges, Michigan and was an active seeker of spiritual wisdom and practice.
